And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph
|
|
|
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people
|
|
|
And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.
|
|
|
Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came
|
|
|
Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
|
|
|
And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all
|
|
|
And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were
|
|
|
Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
|
|
|
Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
|
|
|
Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord
|
|
|
Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;
|
|
|
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
|
|
|
And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his
|
|
|
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the
|
|
|
And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
|
|
|
And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his
|
|
|
And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and
|
|
|
And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
|
|
|
And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
|
|
|
When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have
|
|
|
And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee
|
|
|
And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever.
|
|
|
Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.
|
|
|
And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of
|
|
|
But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
|
|
|
And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou
|
|
|
And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that
|
|
|
And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their
|
