¹In his days Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon came up, and so Jehoiakim became his servant for three years. However, he turned back and rebelled against him.

¹During Jehoiakim’s reign, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon invaded the land, and Jehoiakim became his vassal for three years. But then he turned against Nebuchadnezzar and rebelled.

¹En sus días Nabucodonosor el rey de Babilonia subió, de modo que Jehoiaquim llegó a ser su siervo por tres años. Sin embargo, se volvió y se rebeló contra él.
