(3-4) 3This is fine and acceptable in the sight of our Savior, God, 4whose will is that all sorts of men should be saved and come to an accurate knowledge of truth. (3-4) 3This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

(30-31) 30Philip ran alongside and heard him reading aloud Isaiah the prophet, and he said: “Do you actually know what you are reading?” 31He said: “Really, how could I ever do so, unless someone guided me?” And he entreated Philip to get on and sit down with him. (30-31) 30Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked. 31“How can I,” he said, “unless someone explains it to me?” So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.

45“Who really is the faithful and discreet slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time? 45“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time?
