(15-16)
15Furthermore, consider the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul according to the wisdom given him also wrote YOU,
16speaking about these things as he does also in all [his] letters. In them, however, are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unsteady are twisting, as [they do] also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.

15Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.
16He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

15Además, consideren la paciencia de nuestro Señor como salvación, así como también nuestro amado hermano Pablo, según la sabiduría que le fue dada, les escribió,
16al hablar de estas cosas como también lo hace en todas [sus] cartas. En ellas, sin embargo, hay algunas cosas difíciles de entender, las cuales los indoctos e inconstantes tuercen, como también [hacen con] las demás Escrituras, para su propia destrucción.
