(24-25)
24The God that made the world and all the things in it, being, as this One is, Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in handmade temples,
25neither is he attended to by human hands as if he needed anything, because he himself gives to all [persons] life and breath and all things.
(24-25)
24“The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands.
25And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.
(24-25)

1Consequently I entreat YOU by the compassions of God, brothers, to present YOUR bodies a sacrifice living, holy, acceptable to God, a sacred service with YOUR power of reason.
1Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

8If, now, YOU practice carrying out the kingly law according to the scripture: “You must love your neighbor as yourself,” YOU are doing quite well.
8If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right.

8Certainly if anyone does not provide for those who are his own, and especially for those who are members of his household, he has disowned the faith and is worse than a person without faith.
8Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
