4Look! All the souls—to me they belong. As the soul of the father so likewise the soul of the son—to me they belong. The soul that is sinning—it itself will die.

4For everyone belongs to me, the parent as well as the child—both alike belong to me. The one who sins is the one who will die.

4¡Miren! Todas las almas... a mí me pertenecen. Como el alma del padre, así igualmente el alma del hijo... a mí me pertenecen. El alma que peca... ella misma morirá.

12For that reason I shall deal him a portion among the many, and it will be with the mighty ones that he will apportion the spoil, due to the fact that he poured out his soul to the very death, and it was with the transgressors that he was counted in; and he himself carried the very sin of many people, and for the transgressors he proceeded to interpose.

12Therefore I will give him a portion among the great,
and he will divide the spoils with the strong,
because he poured out his life unto death,
and was numbered with the transgressors.
For he bore the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors.
|
12Por esa razón le daré una porción entre los muchos, y será con los poderosos con quienes él repartirá proporcionalmente el despojo, debido a que derramó su alma hasta la mismísima muerte, y con los transgresores fue contado; y él mismo llevó el mismísimo pecado de muchas personas, y por los transgresores procedió a interponerse.

4His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground;
In that day his thoughts do perish.

in human beings, who cannot save.
4When their spirit departs, they return to the ground;
on that very day their plans come to nothing.

3No cifren su confianza en nobles,
ni en el hijo del hombre terrestre, a quien no pertenece salvación alguna.
4Sale su espíritu, él vuelve a su suelo;
en ese día de veras perecen sus pensamientos.
