^     1 Samuel 2 1 Samuel 2 1 Samuel 2
35And I shall certainly raise up for myself a faithful priest. In harmony with what is in my heart and in my soul he will do; and I shall certainly build for him a lasting house, and he will certainly walk before my anointed one always. 35I will raise up for myself a faithful priest, who will do according to what is in my heart and mind. I will firmly establish his priestly house, and they will minister before my anointed one always.
^     Psalms 11 Psalms 11 Salmos 11
5Jehovah himself examines the righteous one as well as the wicked one,
And anyone loving violence His soul certainly hates.
5The LORD examines the righteous,
   but the wicked, those who love violence,
   he hates with a passion.
^     Psalms 24 Psalms 24 Salmos 24
4Anyone innocent in his hands and clean in heart,
Who has not carried My soul to sheer worthlessness,
Nor taken an oath deceitfully.
4The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
   who does not trust in an idol
   or swear by a false god.
4El inocente de manos y limpio de corazón,
que no haya llevado Mi alma a pura indignidad,
ni prestado juramento engañosamente.

16There are six things that Jehovah does hate; yes, seven are things detestable to his soul: 16There are six things the LORD hates,
   seven that are detestable to him:

14YOUR new moons and YOUR festal seasons my soul has hated. To me they have become a burden; I have become tired of bearing [them]. 14Your New Moon feasts and your appointed festivals
   I hate with all my being.
They have become a burden to me;
   I am weary of bearing them.

9“Should I not take an accounting because of these very things?” is the utterance of Jehovah. “Or upon a nation that is like this should not my soul avenge itself?” 9Should I not punish them for this?”
   declares the LORD.
“Should I not avenge myself
   on such a nation as this?

8Be corrected, O Jerusalem, that my soul may not turn away disgusted from you; that I may not set you as a desolate waste, a land not inhabited.” 8Take warning, Jerusalem,
   or I will turn away from you
and make your land desolate
   so no one can live in it.”

7“I have left my house; I have deserted my inheritance; I have given the beloved one of my soul into the palm of her enemies. 7“I will forsake my house,
   abandon my inheritance;
I will give the one I love
   into the hands of her enemies.
7“He dejado mi casa; he abandonado mi herencia; he dado a la amada de mi alma en la palma de la mano de sus enemigos.
^     Jeremiah 14 Jeremiah 14 Jeremías 14
19Have you absolutely rejected Judah, or has your soul abhorred even Zion? Why is it that you have struck us, so that there is no healing for us? There was a hoping for peace, but no good [came]; and for a time of healing, and, look! terror! 19Have you rejected Judah completely?
   Do you despise Zion?
Why have you afflicted us
   so that we cannot be healed?
We hoped for peace
   but no good has come,
for a time of healing
   but there is only terror.
19¿Has rechazado absolutamente a Judá, o ha aborrecido tu alma aun a Sión?

   and they will shout in triumph over you.

18“And she went on uncovering her acts of prostitution and uncovering her nakedness, so that my soul turned away disgusted from company with her, just as my soul had turned away disgusted from company with her sister. 18When she carried on her prostitution openly and exposed her naked body, I turned away from her in disgust, just as I had turned away from her sister.

   the one I love, in whom I delight;
I will put my Spirit on him,
   and he will proclaim justice to the nations.
