14and toward them the prophecy of Isaiah is having fulfillment, which says, ‘By hearing, YOU will hear but by no means get the sense of it; and, looking, YOU will look but by no means see.
|
14In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah:
|

(20-21)
20For YOU know this first, that no prophecy of Scripture springs from any private interpretation.
21For prophecy was at no time brought by man’s will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit.
|
(20-21)
20Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things.
21For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
|
(20-21)
