(23-25)
23Furthermore, many had to become priests [in succession] because of being prevented by death from continuing as such,
24but he because of continuing alive forever has his priesthood without any successors.
25Consequently he is able also to save completely those who are approaching God through him, because he is always alive to plead for them.

23Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office;
24but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood.
25Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

23Además, muchos tuvieron que llegar a ser sacerdotes [por sucesión] porque la muerte les impedía continuar como tales,
24pero él, por cuanto continúa vivo para siempre, tienesu sacerdocio sin sucesores.
25Por consiguiente, él también puede salvar completamente a los que están acercándose a Dios mediante él, porque siempre está vivo para abogar por ellos.
