4but in every way we recommend ourselves as God’s ministers, by the endurance of much, by tribulations, by cases of need, by difficulties,
4Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses;
6by purity, by knowledge, by long-suffering, by kindness, by holy spirit, by love free from hypocrisy,
6in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love;

17But the wisdom from above is first of all chaste, then peaceable, reasonable, ready to obey, full of mercy and good fruits, not making partial distinctions, not hypocritical.
17But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
