1But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here.
2For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal,
3having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness,
4betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God,
5having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.

1But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.
2People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,
4treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—
5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

1Mas sabe esto, que en los últimos días se presentarán tiempos críticos, difíciles de manejar.
2Porque los hombres serán amadores de sí mismos, amadores del dinero, presumidos, altivos, blasfemos, desobedientes a los padres, desagradecidos, desleales,
3sin tener cariño natural, no dispuestos a ningún acuerdo, calumniadores, sin autodominio, feroces, sin amor del bien,
4traicioneros, testarudos, hinchados [de orgullo], amadores de placeres más bien que amadores de Dios,
5teniendo una forma de devoción piadosa, pero resultando falsos a su poder; y de estos apártate.

25“Also, there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth anguish of nations, not knowing the way out because of the roaring of the sea and [its] agitation,
26while men become faint out of fear and expectation of the things coming upon the inhabited earth; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
27And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28But as these things start to occur, raise yourselves erect and lift YOUR heads up, because YOUR deliverance is getting near.”
29With that he spoke an illustration to them: “Note the fig tree and all the other trees:
30When they are already in the bud, by observing it YOU know for yourselves that now the summer is near.
31In this way YOU also, when YOU see these things occurring, know that the kingdom of God is near.

25“There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.
26People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.
27At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
29He told them this parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees.
30When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near.
31Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.

25”También, habrá señales en el sol y en la luna y en las estrellas, y sobre la tierra angustia de naciones, por no conocer la salida a causa del bramido del mar y [de su] agitación,
26mientras que los hombres desmayan por el temor y la expectación de las cosas que vienen sobre la tierra habitada; porque los poderes de los cielos serán sacudidos.
27Y entonces verán al Hijo del hombre viniendo en una nube con poder y gran gloria.
28Pero al comenzar a suceder estas cosas, levántense erguidos y alcen la cabeza, porque su liberación se acerca”.
29Con eso les habló una ilustración: “Noten la higuera y todos los demás árboles:
30Cuando ya echan brotes, ustedes, al observarlo, saben para sí que ya se acerca el verano.
31Así también ustedes, cuando vean suceder estas cosas, sepan que el reino de Dios está cerca.
