(12-13) 12having a judgment because they have disregarded their first [expression of] faith. 13At the same time they also learn to be unoccupied, gadding about to the houses; yes, not only unoccupied, but also gossipers and meddlers in other people’s affairs, talking of things they ought not. (12-13) 12Thus they bring judgment on themselves, because they have broken their first pledge. 13Besides, they get into the habit of being idle and going about from house to house. And not only do they become idlers, but also busybodies who talk nonsense, saying things they ought not to. (12-13) 12y tienen un juicio porque han desatendido su primera [expresión de] fe. 13Al mismo tiempo también aprenden a estar desocupadas, andorreando por las casas; sí, no solo [a estar] desocupadas, sino también [a ser] chismosas y entremetidas en asuntos ajenos, hablando de cosas que no debieran.

15However, let none of YOU suffer as a murderer or a thief or an evildoer or as a busybody in other people’s matters. 15If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. 15Sin embargo, que ninguno de ustedes sufra como asesino, o ladrón, o malhechor, o como entremetido en asuntos ajenos.
