5Look! With error I was brought forth with birth pains, And in sin my mother conceived me.
|
5Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
|
5¡Mira!

23For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

23For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.
|
23For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
|

|
5For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten.
|
5For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward, and even their name is forgotten.
|

(28-29)
28Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice
29and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.
|
(28-29)
28“Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice
29and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.
|
(28-29)

(14-15)
14If an able-bodied man dies can he live again? All the days of my compulsory service I shall wait, Until my relief comes.
15You will call, and I myself shall answer you. For the work of your hands you will have a yearning.
|
(14-15)
14If someone dies, will they live again? All the days of my hard service I will wait for my renewal to come.
15You will call and I will answer you; you will long for the creature your hands have made.
|
(14-15)

(15-16)
15“This is what Jehovah has said, ‘In Ramah a voice is being heard, lamentation and bitter weeping; Rachel weeping over her sons. She has refused to be comforted over her sons, because they are no more.’”
16This is what Jehovah has said: “‘Hold back your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears, for there exists a reward for your activity,’ is the utterance of Jehovah, ‘and they will certainly return from the land of the enemy.’
|
(15-16)
15This is what the LORD says:
16This is what the LORD says:
|
(15-16)

(40-42)
40At this they began to laugh scornfully at him. But, having put them all out, he took along the young child’s father and mother and those with him, and he went in where the young child was.
41And, taking the hand of the young child, he said to her: “Talitha cumi,” which, translated, means: “Maiden, I say to you, Get up!”
42And immediately the maiden rose and began walking, for she was twelve years old. And at once they were beside themselves with great ecstasy.
|
(40-42)
40But they laughed at him.
41He took her by the hand and said to her, “Talitha koum!” (which means “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”).
42Immediately the girl stood up and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). At this they were completely astonished.
|
(40-42)
