5We have authority to lead about a sister as a wife, even as the rest of the apostles and the Lord’s brothers and Cephas, do we not?
|
5Don’t we have the right to take a believing wife along with us, as do the other apostles and the Lord’s brothers and Cephas?
|

2The overseer should therefore be irreprehensible, a husband of one wife, moderate in habits, sound in mind, orderly, hospitable, qualified to teach,
|
2Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach,
|

(29-31)
29And immediately they went out of the synagogue and went into the home of Simon and Andrew with James and John.
30Now Simon’s mother-in-law was lying down sick with a fever, and they at once told him about her.
31And going to her he raised her up, taking her by the hand; and the fever left her, and she began ministering to them.
|
(29-31)
29As soon as they left the synagogue, they went with James and John to the home of Simon and Andrew.
30Simon’s mother-in-law was in bed with a fever, and they immediately told Jesus about her.
31So he went to her, took her hand and helped her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on them.

(29-31)

(1-3)
1However, the inspired utterance says definitely that in later periods of time some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to misleading inspired utterances and teachings of demons,
2by the hypocrisy of men who speak lies, marked in their conscience as with a branding iron;
3forbidding to marry, commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be partaken of with thanksgiving by those who have faith and accurately know the truth.
|
(1-3)
1The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
2Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.
3They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.
|
(1-3)
2por la hipocresía de hombres que hablan mentiras, marcados en su conciencia como si fuera con hierro de marcar;
