44“And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite;

44“In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever.

44”Y en los días de aquellos reyes el Dios del cielo establecerá un reino que nunca será reducido a ruinas. Y el reino mismo no será pasado a ningún otro pueblo. Triturará y pondrá fin a todos estos reinos, y él mismo subsistirá hasta tiempos indefinidos;

17I saw also an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice and said to all the birds that fly in midheaven: “Come here, be gathered together to the great evening meal of God,
18that YOU may eat the fleshy parts of kings and the fleshy parts of military commanders and the fleshy parts of strong men and the fleshy parts of horses and of those seated upon them, and the fleshy parts of all, of freemen as well as of slaves and of small ones and great.”

17And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God,
18so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and the mighty, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, great and small.”

17Vi también a un ángel que estaba de pie en el sol, y clamó con voz fuerte y dijo a todas las aves que vuelan en medio del cielo: “Vengan acá, sean reunidas a la gran cena de Dios,
18para que coman las carnes de reyes y las carnes de comandantes militares y las carnes de hombres fuertes y las carnes de caballos y de los que van sentados sobre ellos, y las carnes de todos, de libres así como de esclavos y de pequeños y grandes”.

16because everything in the world—the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the showy display of one’s means of life—does not originate with the Father, but originates with the world.
17Furthermore, the world is passing away and so is its desire, but he that does the will of God remains forever.

16For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.
17The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.
|
(16-17)
16porque todo [lo que hay] en el mundo —el deseo de la carne y el deseo de los ojos y la exhibición ostentosa del medio de vida de uno— no se origina del Padre, sino que se origina del mundo.
17Además, el mundo va pasando, y también su deseo, pero el que hace la voluntad de Dios permanece para siempre.

8But as for the cowards and those without faith and those who are disgusting in their filth and murderers and fornicators and those practicing spiritism and idolaters and all the liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur. This means the second death.”

8But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

8Pero en cuanto a los cobardes y los que no tienen fe y los que son repugnantes en su suciedad, y asesinos y fornicadores y los que practican espiritismo, e idólatras y todos los mentirosos, su porción será en el lago que arde con fuego y azufre. Esto significa la muerte segunda”.
