14When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they dispatched Peter and John to them;
15and these went down and prayed for them to get holy spirit.
16For it had not yet fallen upon any one of them, but they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
17Then they went laying their hands upon them, and they began to receive holy spirit.
18Now when Simon saw that through the laying on of the hands of the apostles the spirit was given, he offered them money,

14When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to Samaria.
15When they arrived, they prayed for the new believers there that they might receive the Holy Spirit,
16because the Holy Spirit had not yet come on any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
17Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
18When Simon saw that the Spirit was given at the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money

14Cuando los apóstoles que estaban en Jerusalén oyeron que Samaria había aceptado la palabra de Dios, les despacharon a Pedro y a Juan;
15y estos bajaron y oraron para que recibieran espíritu santo.
16Porque todavía no había caído sobre ninguno de ellos, sino que solo habían sido bautizados en el nombre del Señor Jesús.
17Entonces se pusieron a imponerles las manos, y ellos empezaron a recibir espíritu santo.

44While Peter was yet speaking about these matters the holy spirit fell upon all those hearing the word.
45And the faithful ones that had come with Peter who were of those circumcised were amazed, because the free gift of the holy spirit was being poured out also upon people of the nations.
46For they heard them speaking with tongues and magnifying God. Then Peter responded:

44While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message.
45The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on Gentiles.
46For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God.

44Mientras Pedro todavía estaba hablando acerca de estos asuntos, el espíritu santo cayó sobre todos los que oían la palabra.
