9Everyone that pushes ahead and does not remain in the teaching of the Christ does not have God. He that does remain in this teaching is the one that has both the Father and the Son.
10If anyone comes to YOU and does not bring this teaching, never receive him into YOUR homes or say a greeting to him.

9Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.
10If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them.

9Todo el que se adelanta y no permanece en la enseñanza del Cristo no tiene a Dios. El que sí permanece en esta enseñanza es el que tiene al Padre y también al Hijo.
10Si alguno viene a ustedes y no trae esta enseñanza, nunca lo reciban en casa ni le digan un saludo.

17Now I exhort YOU, brothers, to keep your eye on those who cause divisions and occasions for stumbling contrary to the teaching that YOU have learned, and avoid them.
18For men of that sort are slaves, not of our Lord Christ, but of their own bellies; and by smooth talk and complimentary speech they seduce the hearts of guileless ones.

17I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.
18For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people.

17Ahora los exhorto, hermanos, a que vigilen a los que causan divisiones y ocasiones de tropiezo contrario a la enseñanza que ustedes han aprendido, y que los eviten.
18Porque hombres de esa clase no son esclavos de nuestro Señor Cristo, sino de su propio vientre; y con palabras melosas y habla lisonjera seducen los corazones de los cándidos.
