(4-5) 4In reply he said: “Did YOU not read that he who created them from [the] beginning made them male and female 5and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and his mother and will stick to his wife, and the two will be one flesh’? (4-5) 4“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ 5and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?
