^     Daniel 2 Daniel 2 Daniel 2
(17-18) 17After that Daniel went to his own house; and to Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah his companions he made known the matter, 18even [for them] to ask for mercies on the part of the God of heaven concerning this secret, in order that they might not destroy Daniel and his companions with the remainder of the wise men of Babylon. (17-18) 17Then Daniel returned to his house and explained the matter to his friends Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. 18He urged them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that he and his friends might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.
